UCAs and LCAs preferably. Haven't really looked into what else in need for a wider stance yet - piecing together a possible mid travel set

Long travel is out of the budget lol even just some wheels with a better offset would do the trick , but I like new parts.

Ghetto asses in ABQ strike again.... Got out of work early today so I went to ride the north foothills. Parked at the end of trailhead rd off Montgomery. Came back to this at the end of my ride. They got my stereo, wallet and backpack. Busted the shit out of the dash. Charged $750 worth of crap before I could cancel my cards...fuckin bitches.

Dammit. Sorry to see this. Assholes. Probably highschool kids or methheads. The crime in ABQ has gotten out of control, and if (big IF) they're caught the judges let them out right away so they can do it again.

FYI for those out there who frequent the trailheads off Tramway, this shit has been increasing over the past several months. Forewarned is forearmed.

I may have to start parking at one of the stores near tramway and just ride up to the trail from there. At there's more people in the area and ideally less likely to get messed with.

Or buy a piece of shit car just to go MTBing. Lol. Stupid shit

I'm sure shit won't get done about it. What's crazy is they tried using one card I cancelled and they were declined at a Target so then they just used another one of my cards that I hadn't cancelled yet and they let them buy stuff. It seems crazy that kind of stuff doesn't cause some sort of alert to the store. The part that reall pisses me off is they got all that shit for free and are probably already using someone else's stolen cards

Looked at the truck now that i calmed down to see what I need to replace:
    Passenger side exterior door handle
    Stereo Head Unit Mounting Brackets
    Climate Control Knob
    Climate slider knob
    Replacement HU and Wiring Adapter
Trim around the vents is cracked but I'll live with it

After taking off the door panel, apparently all they did was pop the key lock in so that it broke off of the inside of the door handle and push it down w/ a screw driver or something and BAM, unlocked door. Crazy these things are so damn easy to break into. They were probably in and out in a few minutes at most. IDK how much an alarm would have even made a difference.

Man that is crazy. Probably happens a lot with people and their credit cards so probably used to it. Well they are definitely caught on camera then but hopefully they can be caught

I just replaced my door handle yesterday and yeah was surprised the door lock is literally in place by a piece of plastic (btw the door handle was a bitch to replace with an aftermarket one due to the holes not lining up). Makes me nervous now.

I have an alarm but yeah it'll just make noise and locks the ignition (until unplugged) but wont prevent someone stealing random stuff in my truck :annoyed: hate this place

Yeah pretty rough sometimes. Can't even go out and exercise w/o getting your truck messed with  I'm trying to source parts now online. I'm trying to find an OEM handle replacement. I had to replace my driver's side a couple winter's back when it broke in the Durango cold. It was a cheap ebay handle so i was lucky enough to find a used OEM one. I'm hoping to do the same now so i don't have to spend $80 on a new one. I can't even put a new HU in since they took the mounting brackets with the HU. The little things can be very frustrating sometimes :bananadead:

That can be debated. I'm in the side of no. It does really drop the diff 1". Closer to half at best. My truck had one when I bought it used and I took it off when I swapped out the suspension. Just my $.02

I searched the the forum and it seems a lot of people don't use it , just wanted to get some advice from local people. Have you noticed any difference after taking it off ? Are your CV boots wearing out ?

LOTS of wiring, dual battery setup, Solar charging system, with some random lights spread around here and there.
I have a diff drop and have great CV angles. I haven't noticed any negatives with it, and the couple of boots I've torn have been from when I blew up the original CV cages.

My current truck is manual hubs so not a direct comparison but my two previous Tacomas were both auto hubs and I didn't use a diff drop on those either and never had any issues
