My factory radio with nav froze up yesterday.
I restarted the truck and everything worked again.
Any updates available or other options?
Also, something when making a phone call it doesn't connect to the speaker system.

Happens. Generally doesn't last too long. I asked the dealer about it and they wouldn't do anything about it until they could see for themselves.

Mine would randomly freeze almost everytime I drove it. I have a 2015 with Entune Nav non-JBL. I took it to the dealer and they applied an update and I haven't had an issue since.

Same thing happened to me it would freeze like every 10 minutes of driving I was furious. took it to the dealer and they cleared the hard drive on the radio itself and they added the update they also told me to clear data on my phone that I wasn't using like, old contacts, photos, texts ect. The dealer basically stated your radio will upload everything on your phone and will store it in the hard drive. Any ways they did the update and have had zero issues. I also try wacky stuff to make it freezer like phone calls navigation streaming music and switching songs rapidly while using the navigation and my phone is paired on blue tooth and it has not froze once. just take it to the dealer it took them about 20 minutes to do mine.

I have a 2014 as well and was doing the same thing (freezing) took it to the dealer they could not find an update. They told me that I had to leave the truck for two to five hours and I told them no way. Took it again and had my son video the problem with an IPhone and took it back to the dealer and they did the update. I also send an email to Toyota Corporate and documented the problem with an incident number by the time they call the radio had been updated. Through other forums here some have experience the same problem after the update was done. I just had mine done this week 01/17/17 I waited about an hour.
