While I'm saving up for a lift and wheels I've been working on some cheaper things to keep me sane. First thing was debadging and blacking out the grill.

So, I really liked the look of the Tacoma with wheel spacers so I decided to try some out. I went with the Spidertrax 1.25. I am pretty happy with the look so far. Way better stance over stock. I also wanted to try out the plasti dip metalizer. I hadn't seen it on anything yet but what the hell! Here's a couple pre pics.

I did a few light swaps also. Head lights: OPT7 CREE. Fog lights: OPT7 LED Fog Light CREE. Interior and license plate lights: Elite Tech. Reverse lights: JDM Astar 800 lumens. I am pretty happy all around with all of them. Instal was pretty simple all around.IMG_1602.jpg IMG_1595.jpg IMG_1600.jpg IMG_1601.jpg IMG_1597.jpg

Good so far! I really like the low beams. Pretty comparable to the stock lights but look way better. I wish the fogs threw out light a little farther but they are still pretty good!

Finished hooking up my CaliRaised light bar using stealth mounts. I used a ch4x4 button instead of the clicker provided. While I was under the dash I installed the VooDoo auto start that uses the OEM remote. Setting the light bar was the only difficult part due to the lack of space. Otherwise everything just took some time.IMG_2244.jpg IMG_2243.jpg

I was thinking about this mod. How hard was the install and wiring? You live in Portland area?

Well the light bar was pretty easy all around. Mounting the light bar was the most difficult because of the minimal space. Hooking it up to the dash button was simple. I used some install stuff I found on TW that showed all of the wiring. The remote start turned out to be easier than I was expecting also. I had close to zero wire splicing experience and I was able to do it.

Are these the ones for the 2nd Gen if so that's awesome. Just want to make sure they fit. The only ones I seen Insain Fab had for 3rd Gens were flat ones.

Came out great. I think it will look better w/o the BAMF grill.
