Why don't you just buy it for $50 and resell it to the next person. I really don't want to take the risk of losing it and I don't ever plan on using it again either.

There are quite a few tools on these forums people are sharing for free. I made one, and sold it to the next guy for 10 bucks. (covers shipping cost)
He did the same thing. Good Karma. Ask around, one will pop up.

if just one person had it and was shipping it to whoever needed, that person could have put deposit down for cost of tool in case they didnt return it and paid small "rent" fee that would have probably worked

Dealer called. Said they have to replace needle bearing as per tsb. Didn't say anything about suspension so it's good news

Had the ECGS bushing installed today. Also had the TSB for the new leaf packs, steering damper as well as the TSB to plug the lower control arm holes. The good news is the vibration is GONE!!!! The truck rides really smooth so far and the horrible vibration I had is gone. The bad news is since they installed everything at once I can't say for sure which actually fixed the vibration. If I had to put my money on one it would definitely be the ECGS bushing for sure!! I highly recommend upgrading to the bushing.

Here are the parts they used for the TSB repairs. I did not bother to have them install another Toyota needle bearing since the vibration will only come back and you'll have to replace it again. I got the ECGS 8" clamshell bushing from the East Coast Gear Supply website.

Many people have gotten the TSB and not had vibes. If the TSB for the 16+ is the same as the 12-15 it probably would be fine

There is no TSB to replace the needle bearing for 2016+. That was up to 2015 only

Hello, I am new to this forum but found many useful things here, thanks for the info. I am also in the same boat and need the needle bearing replaced with the "magic" bushing. Would it be possible to borrow/rent the tools that MTopp is talking about. Would be promptly returned and greatly appreciated in advance.

One more question: If the vehicle is not on any warranty any more the TSB for our problem would have to be paid our of my pocked correct? Or the stealership will pay for it? Just a clarification, never dealt with TSB before. Thanks everyone
