Could be worth getting, but what I was talking about was getting the compression adjusters that can be selected to have on purchase ($300) more I think. As far as getting a set, I would get the coils for the front and then figure out what you want for the rear. I think depending on what your rear set up is, might affect the overall length of the rear shocks. Would suck to get a shock that is too short. Any idea how much lift you might want?

I really just want a 2inch for now to keep stock UCA's right now and then further down the road crank them up another inch. That is why the coil-overs seemed like a good option. Really looking into those fox 2.5 coilovers non res with rear 2.0 res in the back. You think a AAL will be necessary to get that full 3in later down the road?

how about youself @TXpro4X4? Any input?

I personally am not a fan of AAL's although many on here have them with success. If it were me I would look to getting a whole leaf pack over just installing an AAL, but I think they can get about 1.5 inches more in height, but don't quote me on it as I might be wrong there. Non res can be a good but can lead to shock fade over time which is where the resistance inside the shock can be burnt out due to excessive heat from the shock cycling causing it to permanently blow out. Because of this, many get the res version of the shocks. I would shoot for some coils for the front at first and see what your budget and interests might be as you get more funds for the rear.

Sorry i am not running Kings. When i was looking to upgrade was going to go kingsx4, after doing some research i found i didnt need it.
I just went with 5100x4 for my needs.
For research and responses. Kings where always on top.
As far as an aal i would do some more research as far as what is need to get the lift you want....in the end.
But as i have said^ save your money and do it all once. Why in the fuck would you want to do amd pay for things 2 times. Just wait.

Thanks!! Good stuff man. Looking forward to seeing the outcome. And they're great, no complaints other than the clear coat on the edge recently started peeling, hence the eyelids. Otherwise no problems at all.

Just bought this 2013 Tx Pro. 46k miles. Only issue with it is the PO painted the fender flares with cheap bedliner. Will likely keep touching it up until spring and then order new. So far I took off the steps and added my 42 inch bar to the roof. Tonneau on the way. Will do suspension in the spring. No point in doing coilovers until the salt is gone. NY winters will destroy them.

Here’s my (almost) entirely stock 2011 Tacoma T/X - so far I’ve only added the bull bar (have since reverted to original chrome front badge). Thinking about adding a Rough Country 3” lift to it before long, just trying to decide on what I’d need to do about tires.

Edit - any opinions on this kit?http://www.roughcountry.com/toyota-suspension-lift-kit-745c.html
