You should invest in some new material. I'm here like once every six months and that's the default joke every time.

We Ohio folk are simple people. Come back and give us some new material to work with.

You're probably right. Whenever I do check in on the thread, I go to the last page, then scroll back about ten pages, and read them to get caught up. Most of the time I end up wondering if I actually missed anything since it seems the conversation is perpetually the same. Someone bought something that bolts on, a guy is "almost finished" with his trailer, a truck is chronically broken down, no one goes wheeling, and everyone is surprised that an Ohio off road expo is catered to fat guys in Jeeps that have never actually gone off road.

I suppose all that would be more fascinating if I read it less often.

I am coming back in May, but I'm on the motorcycle, doing a coast to coast and back run. I'm not sure I could keep up with you on the bike!

I'll probably ride 4 miles to the Pacific, then work my way to I 80 near Tahoe, then hammer 80 east, drop down to 70 at some point, then 64, and work my way into Virginia Beach. Go straight to the ocean, then backtrack a few miles to a buddies house. That should be 2.5 days getting there ocean to ocean. Hang out with him, then ride with him to Romney WV, see some more friends for a few days, then ride into Ohio, see my parents, see some buddies, chill a few days. Then I'll probably take US 36 west, it ends in the Rockies, then barring snow I'll take some as of yet undetermined routes over the Rockies and the Sierra Nevadas and arrive home. 14 days or so, route subject to change due to weather. I also plan on surprising my parents, so if they happen to be in Florida then I'll have to add a Florida loop on after Romney...

Going to Alaska in August with my wife... getting the Taco set up for that, too.

You don't think there are stumps in Alaska, do you? Shit. I better do some more research.

Stumps in Alaska are called bears. Try not to get stuck on one.

There is a Ohio overlanding trip in may if you're coming through you can tag along and it should be fun. Granted you've probably seen the stuff

Was seriously considering it then remembered the Coleman Road trip Grill I bought last summer that I haven't used yet. I need to use what I have before I get something else.
