Almost done, had to order some stronger springs for the rear end from King. The truck should sit about 2" higher front and rear when it's all done. The front CV's are dead level right now so I have some room to play with. Rear fenders still have to be cut too, taking a few days off from it until the springs arrive but it should be at the alignment shop Friday and ready to drive home Fri eve....20" of travel in the rear...just what every expo truck needs :sawzall::welder::woot:

What did it end up costing you guys to gut the DB and replace/weld the cross member? Don't include the price of LT or if you do, keep it separate from the other costs.

    TC heimed uppers 800ish
    TC race lowers 1700ish
    Front King's (used) 900
    TC (all the gussets) 300

I got most of this stuff for my DB build and moved it to my 15. Prices were a bit lower a few years ago.

To those of you who replaced their crossmember with square steel tubing, what size and thickness did you use? I've got all the new suspension and this is all I have left to lose my drop bracket.

I'm getting ready to lose my Pro-Comp-ensator DB lift in favor of a mid travel setup, just gathering parts at the moment. I bought the truck with it on, just a disclaimer.

I'm interested to see the new cross-members people are fabbing/having done. Anybody up to post some pics?

    Edit: Thread revival anyone?

3x3 box tubing. Definitely the way to go over sourcing a stock crossmember.
