Yeah it's a 6-cylinder. The 1994 was a 4 cylinder and there were countless times I wanted and needed more power. Wouldn't let that happen again heh.

Finally got on my OEM 17-in 4Runner TRD Pro matte black wheels, BFG LT265/70R17 All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, and OEM chrome lug nuts and OEM wheel locks installed (sorta)

Next weekend, I'll be removing the factory tint on the front windows and redoing it darker. I'm torn between 15% all around or 15% on the front and 30% on the back over the smoked glass. Still waiting for my TRD Pro grill to arrive as well... It's backordered until end of Feb. The first one I received from the dealer had 2 broken tabs on one side. I got it for 1/2 cost as part of the deal for the truck so around $200 after tax.

Now for the fiasco with mounting and balancing these damn wheels. I bought the wheels from the dealership directly since they price matched an online price from another dealership. The tires were purchased online from 4WP. Wheels never left the dealership and went from Parts to Service. I did it at the dealership hoping for better quality (boy, was I wrong). They tried to charge me the cost for two sets of mount and balance fees (argument was that they have to unmount stock tires to get TPMS - my argument was they'd still remove them even if it was just new tires without new wheels). I finally won that one. Next, they installed the new tires on stock wheels the first time (with new wheels already paid for nowhere to be seen) so they had to redo it. The next day I went to pick it up again. They had the new wheels and tires on the truck finally but all four wheels had scratches on each rim (faint but definitely there) from poor installation. Once I inspected my stock wheels that they removed, they had even more damage from poor work. Long story short after 4 days without my truck, truck is currently on old scratched Pro wheels, dealership refunded me the full service cost, they are buying me new Pro wheels AND new stock wheels since they were less a month old (several days or more till they show up), I'll take the truck elsewhere to have the new Pro wheels installed, and then I'll return the old Pro wheels to them...

Off the point -- oh well -- that last pic of your doggie is great -- Framed and composed fantastic, with one exception -- if you can edit -- lose some of the sky, and you have a prize winning doggie shot!!
    Nice lookin truck as well!

Thanks! Yeah the sky was pretty dreary out so it looked pretty crummy in the photo. It was also hard to get a good one with the dog paying attention lol. We were just trying to get him looking out with the Aussie sticker showing. It served it's purpose even if it wasn't the best photo :)

    Opinions please!

Black pillar tape: keep or remove?

Chrome Tacoma door emblems: keep, remove, or plastidip black?

    Can't decide on either one...

Note: darker tint and black TRD Pro grill coming soon!

It wasn't that anything was wrong with the sky --its just that there is too much of it seen. Its about your dog -nice lookin doggie!

If you are buying a Pro soon. Why don't you just leave it? Let the next buyer decide. They might not like the changes.

Looking good pwalnut. I say keep the black pillar tape, at least until you see it all with the windows all tinted. Right now there's a lot going on (different shades of darkness) but once it's all somewhat uniform it might look a lot better.

Thanks! I'm leaning towards keeping pillar tape and removing door emblems
