None of those are real, in my experience. I've called on a few of them, including one in CT today, and they are ordered/pre-sold trucks.

They get scanned into dealer inventory and make it to the sites like cars.com, but I haven't found any "real" on the ground cement TRD pro MT trucks.

I've got no problem driving to get one. Hell, I drove to Boise, ID last year to get my RC-F. Drove it home in the snow 1,000 miles with summer tires!

    There aren't 56 fake trucks

Sure 5-10% might be accounted for

Locally there is 6 of us Pro owners from Tacoma forums

Me and three others went up to Or and got our 6MT cement. 2 were autotrader other 2 of us were email purchases

Other two went to Nv and bought theirs also as seen on auto trader

I'm sure some of them are real and available. A lot (most from my calls) of them aren't.

Congrats on your truck though, I'm still holding out hope that I will get one.

I'm am getting more impatient by the day to be honest. The build up is real and I can't wait till I get the call. One thing though is that the dealership I'm getting mines from is a high volume place and they're not really on top of anything from my experience. I was pretty much in the dark until maybe 2 weeks ago when I found out I had a build date. No worries though I'll just have to wait and see when I get the call.

I am about to hit 3K on mine....I just got back from driving home from the airport, and my avg MPG was 19.5. The highest I have seen it, and that was with ECT on the whole way. I have been previously driving out of ECT and been hovering around 17.8 to 18.0. My AT tranny has been really great.....My drive home from work has some rolling KY hills, and my truck usually just drops down to 5th, and occasionally to 4th if I stomp dwn on it. It keeps getting better and better as the miles roll on. Sorry 3 Gen haters.....

I wasn't driving like a madman like normal, so I guess that might be the reason for my rising MPG.

I know your pain ! I'm still only getting 12.8 mpg. I have had to pay close attention to my acceleration and it has not gotten any better. I love this truck but I do not love the gas mileage.

Yeah, they gave me more than kbb dealer trade-in value and a little less than kbb private party resale value, which I was happy with given the sales tax savings with a trade

that is kinda weird it seems. i'm at almost 2900mi, no fluid change yet, and i'm seeing 15.6. that is after calming down and staying out of the direct injection bit above 3500rpm. even though i'm more calm now, i'm still having too much fun. i think i'd be driving like a 90 yr old if i'm trying for 20. the 15.6 is with me staying out of the DI mostly, and mostly trying to stay out of the power. i think part of it is the new motor. some folks argue that mpg won't change as you break in, but my experience with new motors is that mpg and throttle response do indeed change... but that's just on the motors i have experience with.

Another MT vs AT question - those who wanted a MT but settled for AT because of supply ...are you happy with your decision?

(for the life of me can't find MT in cement anywhere near CA).
