Satin or flat pretty much what I'm asking to clearify

 

Id use satin

 

Some helpful tips

- remember to turn off your oven before putting anything in it and make sure nothing is in there before turning it on. My dumbass forgot to remove the cardboard and i smelt something burning. Luckily i caught it on time.

- Dont be scared to leave your headlights in the oven for 10 minutes. Its worth it and makes things so much easier. My first headlight i took it out after 5 minutes and the glue/seal didnt melt so i had trouble taking it apart and dented t he lip trying to pry it apart. The second headlight i left it in for about 12 minutes and the headlight separated like butter.

- when i put the headlights back together i compressed them together and threw them back in the oven for 12 minutes. Used the original seal to seal it together. Just make sure you keep pressure on it for atleast 3 minutes and compress each side.
After i finished i went and bought some silicon sealer at home depot and sealed it off all around the lip of the headlight. I would rub it in with ny finger to make sure i got it in the cracks.

Never had any foggy issues.
Oh and the headlight are effing hot fresh out the oven so i would wear some gloves or oven mitt

 

Thanks brother! Last weekend I got them pulled apart and torn down to start my retrofit, been in finals all week so didn't get to work on them till last night. Went with the Krylon satin black and put 4 coats on. Used the VHT nite stuff on the reflectors. I need to file down the bowl and poke holes for my halos before I paint those last pieces. When you put them together you didn't use any clamps or anything ?

 

No but that would have made it alot easier haha. Ive seen some clamps at home depot. I just sacrificed my hands a bit with the heat lol

 

Went an played in the mud for a little, tried stretching the shackle flip out but I need to chop more in the front and eventually my fenders too since they are the limiting factor.

My buddy made me this bottle opener since he knows Im going to try and become a SDFD soon.

In return I had bought him a wallet made from recycled fire hose.

That's a nice setup. For the fd what are the requirements to apply? Just curious if it's about the same as police. (Written test, physical, background, polygraph, psych test, panel interview)

 

As far as I know not like Pd, you first have to get emt cert, then work as emt, cal fire, or reserve fire for 1-2 years and then apply to FD. Then if you get in there is some test stuff and then academy

Dude depending how much longer and where you go check out 3 mobile. You can walk into the store and buy a SIM card for like 20$. Normally it's like 12 gigs with 4g speed in the purchasing country, I got mine in the U.K. and used it throughout Europe. Not sure if you can only get that deal in the U.K. or not though, but it would be worth checking out just don't lose your original SIM card. Once I left the U.K. I dropped to 3G but was still able to use everything just slower.

Trasharoo: Black, Tan, or OD Green?
Maxtrax: Black, Grey, or Green?

Thoughts:
Green bag to match green and it looks epic on the grey truck
Black bag to match my black/grey theme on the truck, with grey maxtrax to continue the trend
Tan Bag to match my tent when its open and then black maxtrax to be simple

Also won some GGlighting pods that are combo and some 6.5" two way coaxial 300w speakers for the front doors in a raffle! Stoked because I might end up redoing all my speakers and adding a sub!
