Nice. Consider modding the lighter power to be on with the ignition off. Handy for the radio in certain circumstances, and avoids the annoying power up chirp. Or pull another wire through the firewall and use these little Anderson connectors.

Does that board say "Scallywag"? This whole pirate thing is getting out of control...;)

Good idea on the Anderson plugs and constant power. Not sure if this would fit in the stock location with that flange.

I'm planning on putting mine on a switch in the dash, so I can turn it on/off as needed when the truck is on or off

That would be cool if you can make it fit. These are all constant power - Garmin, Lowrance, phone and radio. I call them flying leads. Others call this mess a manifestation of commitment issues.

It does! That's Ieva's. It just happened to be the brand she wanted in the size she needed, it must have been meant to be.

No fan on this (Gen 2) version. What you are seeing on top is the speaker. The Gen 3 has a tiny rear-facing fan.

well, my roof is still leaking on the tacoma -_- got in tonight and the back seat is wet, the headliner is wet by the front pillars and back corners right by the roof and the floor is wet by the front seats... if anybody happens to have their roof weather strip things still and wont be needing them, i would be MORE than happy to take those off your hands lol. going to jump in there tomorrow with my heat gun and try to dry everything out

That sucks. Careful with that heat gun they tend to melt things. You might just want to let the truck run for a couple hours with the heater on high and see if that works.
