The Western Ave side street next to your house is a lake.

Hope it's not too flooded up the block near your place.

Same. There was a video posted of the waterfall from that new home construction site up Narbonne.

    Here is the video

I am also born and raised here. Born at the Harbor City Kaiser. Lived in Harbor City for awhile before we moved to San Pedro and now back in Harbor City till we can find a place in Torrance. Never really cared much where I lived until I had my daughter and now I think about schools and shit like that.

Dude holy crap!!! I didn't see that! That's gnarly!

Yeah I hear ya. I'm really happy with where we live. I feel like my wife and kid are safe but when it comes time for my kids to go to middle school I'd like to be in a better area.

Yeah schools around here are rated pretty low. Is that side of Western in Lomita?
What Elementary are you planning on sending your kid to?

Not sure how old you are but its been 20 years since I graduated and you would think LAUSD could be doing better down in the South Bay but they really aren't.

    Feeling old I am 38.

Only good LAUSD elementary in this area is Lomita Math/Science Magnet. Everything else is shit ratings.

Torrance = Good Rated Schools = Expensive as Fuck houses.

We have been looking in the neighborhood just north of West High for years. Very few houses come on the market and the ones that have needed a lot of work and were still $$$$
