@Blues0010 - what is the backspacing on the wheels are you running? My ST Maxx's in 265/75r16 didn't rub on stock wheels, but did after I added the 1.25" wheel spacers.

I have the 883's in front and the Dakars w/ +1 leaf in the rear. The rear is perfect with the weight on my back end. I never take mine off though, so you might find that setup stiff if you take you're camp gear off when in daily driver mode. No winch in my ARB bumper yet and the front is definitely high and stiff. Am hoping adding an aux battery under the hood and the winch pulls the front back down.

which plate bumper are you using? 883 is a good recommendation if it's fairly heavy. Even though you don't have a winch now, you might want one later, that adds another 50lbs, or more.

Building Some brackets myself now. I have an AAL and it rides like shit. But I do a lot of hauling like you. So bags would work better for me. Plan on running the Daystar cradles to allow suspension movement when needed.daystar cradles.jpg

So I just took delivery of an OME kit.

for the shackle/bushing part it came with

    1- OMEGS12 grazable shackles

    1- OMESB88
    2- OMESB89

the 88 is supposed to be for the greasable shackles and the 89 is for reusing the stock shackles .

they look identical other than the 89 comes with a 2" x .5"D piece of metal. Not sure what that is for.

    Help?

I have ome 882s sitting in my garage. What other parts do i need to make this truck sit level or slightly higher in back.

New Dakar leaf pack? I have new shocks in the rear but not sure they will damage with extra lift in the rear?

I may just use blocks in the rear for a short while

Tire size? I'm about to put this exact setup on mine next week.

883 with a stock bumper was fine. CVs slung a tiny bit of grease a year and a half in, but nothing serious. Then added a plate bumper and they only improved in ride. I actually think they'll be too soft once I add a winch.

I have the nitrocharger sports. Not sure what I would switch to if I'm not happy with the 883s after adding a winch.

Yeah they do! Especially after deleting the sway bar lol. I had a few good flex pics of my truck but I can't seem to find any with the sway bar off.

Mine flexes so well my tires rub when I take a corner too fast now...or hit a speed bump straight on too fast. Lol. Gotta do some more trimming/hammering. I think it's just the fender that it's hitting though. Pinch weld has been ground down plenty.

Yeah but...racetruck! Haha mine leans like crazy too. RTT above the cab doesn't help, and I'm pretty sure my steering rack needs to be replaced. Over all it's a pretty shitty driving experience at the moment.

Hey everyone, new here. Looking at this setup to replace my stock. Stock has probably as many miles as the truck does 165k (leaf springs are toast). Current set up has a camper and I am looking to carry about 200-300 lbs in the bed consistently. I am looking at this setup more for a suspension upgrade and not necessarily trying to lift my truck. Am I looking at a solid purchase to not make my 65/70/16s look small?

Is anyone here not impressed with their OME lift? I installed mine and it pops and makes so much noise. I have lubricated and checked all the torque values. I feel like the ride just as bad if not worse than my stock. I am running nitrochargers with 882 and Dakar pack. I have a plate bumper in the front and a camper in the rear.

Haven't experienced any noise other that what was already there. It's a rougher ride but I expected that from stock. Running 881's with nitro's and dakars.
