Time to let the transformation begin I received my suspension from @HeadStrong Off-Road and I couldn't be anymore excited. The Taco is fixing to be looking mighty tasty.
We are in line for some fun. Now if only my matte jet black Ray 10 wheels would magically appear on my doorstep we could get started!

    Thanks

Try that. You have to request the ubolts. I plan on running 285/75/16, but I'm not sure how that's going to work out yet. Stock wheels aren't really good for putting bigger tires. You'll probably wind up requiring spacers to get anything wide.

To clarify it isn't installed yet. I won't install it until I get my wheels.

You spent good money on the dog, good money on the suspension, and skimped on the beer?

I know, but once you do start the install if you don't mind, I am working on a kit with HeadStrong but still can't seem to find an install video of these things on a 16 Tacoma. I will also search on here for some posts.

AAL. Should be pretty easy to install. Just search for AAL. The basic principals are the same for older generations I'm sure.

You lost me at Bud o_O

But you had me with your choice of lift. As soon as I can get some extra cash I'm going either the 887, 888, or Marie has a HS front coil and the HS 3 leaf. I have a DCLB and will be doing some towing and hauling.

Did you go with the 2nd or 3rd Gen 5100?

I went with the 3rd gen. I don't do too much hauling. I'm not sure what kind of lift the single leaf AAL I got will get me but it seems a little small

That AAL should get you around 2ish, maybe a little less. I decided to go with a progressive setup with the 3 leaf since I do plan on some towing/hauling. I had a buddy on his 15' flatten out a single AAL towing his boat. He also has a shell on his truck too so the added weight could make a difference. I think I'm going with the 3rd gen 5100 too.
