What's up guys/gals I just bought a set of toytec/bilstein coil overs that are already preassembled and have the 521600 coils that give 2.5" lift and they came with the Toytec aluminum top plate spacer for 3" of lift. They also are set on the bottom clip/setting and was wondering if anyone has ran these before and has anyone adjusted them up one setting to .85" for additional weight? Thanks

One question for you. What is the length of the spring as currently assembled?

They'll ride like shit and void the warranty on your shocks and coils.

ToyTec does offer a 620lb rate spring for this application, compressing the 600 an additional 1/2"=.85 lift will add an additional 300lbs preload. May make the ride harsh but provide no more resistance as you travel thru the spring. The 620 will add 20lbs of force required for every inch of travel. I would try what you have first.

Toytec coilovers Fabtech uca's Dakars and 5100's in the back.
I called Toytec the guy told me three inches of lift with the aluminum spacers. I also have a pair of these waiting to go on my 2013. Tomorrow I will receive the OME springs and 5100s for the back. I see you guys don't think very much of Toytech. I am ready for a stiffer ride. I really just wanted to upgrade the suspension.

OP, did you get 2.5 or 3" out of your coilovers..?

Cool. I have to wait till mid February to get on mine. Now you already have a 3" rough country lift?

Okay...so you have already put on aftermarket UCA'S. If I can get away with I will but if I get three inches I gotta get upper control arms. Mo money lol

No I still factory UCA's and when I had the rough country 3" lift they didn't seem to have any problems getting it aligned.

If you have the 2.5" coils with the top plate spacer that equates to a total of 3" of lift, I wouldn't bump it to .85" you're going to max out your CV's.

Ah disregard. Maybe check toytec's recommendation for that coil then, but otherwise, Go for it!

lol I'm gonna try to get them adjusted and put on if I can. Just some advice since these coils are already under more compression than stock you can't fit a strut/spring compressor from a parts store you would rent in between the coils so you'll have to go to a shop and use there's where it has just the arms that stick straight out to be able to compress the coils.

    Little bit of stuff.
Same story here. just a little rubbing on the tires but nothing a cutoff wheel and some zip ties couldn't fix. Factory UCA's on a 3" RC block lift, aligned no problem.
