Time is short as im to be in KC tomorrow at 9am. Thanks in advance!

Are you ordering a New 2017 in the 2.7 L 4 cyl. engine? Is that what you're saying?

The 4Cyl, 5spd Manual, 4x4 tacomas are the same as they have always been. Rock solid reliable.

yeah supposed to order the 4cyl access cab 4wd 5 speed manual in the morning. Getting a pretty good deal at 23675. But like I said member said they were having issues with the 3rd gen, which I believe they do with the 6 cylinder but not the 4 cylinder.

There has been a TSB in the past for premature clutch replacment on these trucks. This configuration is as heavy as they get with this clutch. Something to pay attention too, but i wouldnt call it a deal breaker.

Get it. The 2.7 is virtually indestructible like its older 22RE sister.
Try to get it in a manual, I have the 6speed Auto and it's not the best due to the last 2 gears being over drive and constantly down shifting.

Other than that, the 3rd gen is good. Remember the 3rd gen section has a bunch of trolls, shit talkers, people trying to start fake stuff, whiners, etc.

This is spot on. I haven't had an issue really with my 4cyl besides some shifting problems but that's the 6speed auto unfortunately. I mean it would be nice to have a V6 sometimes but I prefer the reliability and the slight bump in real world driving MPG.

Ordered the 4 cylinder 5 speed manual access cab 4x4 this morning. Drove it and loved the way it drove. It was an auto . I was impressed even with the auto tranny it drove nice. Since I'm moving to Colorado I decided on the manual over the auto tho. The 1800 dollar difference was the deciding factor. On a side note I drove the 6 speed manual 3.4 and was not impressed at all. although some of it was probably me shifting at lower rpms than I should have, Thanks for all the inputs from my threads.

Have the dealership go through a pre-trip inspection. Check all fluid levels etc. When I picked up my new Ram I had them check it and then had them watch me check all my under hood fluids. I found 2 fluids low in 2 minutes and had them top them off before I left the lot.
