Hell no, the opposite. The railroad and myself had a disagreement about what constitutes full time employment vs slavery. 55 hours a week wasn't good enough, so now I'm gonna work on tugboats instead.

 

Sounds like where I'm at with my current job requiring/expecting me to work 70hrs a week. I'd be comfortable working 40hrs a week. My truck sure appreciates my hard work lately.

 

I was home 12 hours every 3ish days. That's not enough time to enjoy life and maintain friendships. And the friends are more important than the money.

 

Exactly, I would take a pay cut right now to regain my sanity and free time again. Fishing, hanging with friends, basically just the ability to fuck off..

That's exactly how I'm feeling at my job. I don't mind overtime during the week (well 10s) but screw the weekends. And since management keeps deciding Friday afternoon whether we work or not and screw over weekend plans....got tired of it. Between that, lack of common sense, and having to work with a couple liars and annoying people I decided to look for a new job. Fingers crossed I get the one I applied for (internal move). No overtime, get to make my own schedule (just needs to be 40 hours a week, no other coworkers really, and a nice office job. Only bad thing is it'll be a bit more scrutinized by others. But I'll gladly take three day weeks every week

 

well the bed still gets wet sometimes towards the tail gate but aside that im content. I got the hankook dynpro atm 265/75/16 feels better. no sliders yet hahahahaha still on a tight budget but one day I shall ride. the rack I was on debate cause I had a cover but someone on here did a hack on it with another tonneau cover so I had tonno pro and just hacked that to make it work and it is just fine
