Well, I guess that answers that, since the post and everything related to it disappeared. :notsure:

    Directly in the CoC:

Any link pertaining to a Crowdsource fundraiser links are not permitted without prior approval by the staff

Fundraising accounts should be for legitimate needs (mainly life/safety contributions. House lost in fire, medical care, etc.) The reasoning for this is the staff have recently noticed someone create a "GoFundMe" account at the reasoning of ""Saw another TW member doing it so I figured what the hell why not lol." This is NOT a GoFundMe forum and we are not about asking for handouts.

Apparently. I figured putting it in an 'off topic' thread wouldn't be a COC violation, but apparently I was wrong. :notsure:

Rats. I read through the COC quickly before I posted but I missed the prior approval part. My bad.

I figured it was for a legitimate need, since he can't get to work without a vehicle, which is why I went forward with it.

    Apologies.

instead of posting links to crowdfunding, you just have to say "send me money, here is my address"

Money for put off proper maintenance isn't really a legitimate need, at least not for here. The CoC statement is about emergency situations. Those still need approval as well. If not, we'll end up like before where people saw someone else put up a link and want money for mods, etc.

Today is ending with a sad face. I had gotten the LandCruiser out to drive an it and decided that today was the day that I'd put in the awesome Blue Ridge Overland Gear attic that my TWsecretsanta sent me. I was rocking along starting from the back and working my way forward and had it aligned perfectly in the middle. Got the front left side in and then walked around the back to get to the drivers side and when I opened the door I realized that it won't work because 70 series LandCruisers have the drivers grab handle on the a-pillar.

Going to call Blue Ridge tomorrow to see about an exchange for something else they offer.

Oh my gosh finally!! Joel was super helpful and even held the trail edition for me to make sure you got it. Glad you like it! Gotta start modding the 5th gen! :D

Also how does the girl like her shirt? I sure hope it fit her okay.
