    I keep mine closed. Other than the GPU nothing inside my pc is particularly cool to look at and I want the fans to be as efficient as possible.

    What do you watch?

    Honestly? There is no TRUE 240 hz tv anymore. Looking at the motion clarity of 240 or higher (Sony is 960) for sports and action.

    You're looking at a 55" in Samsung with there ks8000 series or 55" Sony x850 or 65" Sony x750 for that price range.

    Do you care about a used item? Best buy at signal butte is closing down so they'll be having their open box tvs on killer sales. I can have Sam keep an eye out for you.

    Thanks for the info. I've been eyeing the Samsung. Just not sure what size yet.


    I don't mind returned items or refurbished with a warranty but I don't do display items.

    Costco has some good prices and the nice thing with them is if it has issues in 2 years it covered through Costco.

    I went back and forth and I say no. If you're in the sweet spot they look good. Viewing from an angle they don't look good to me. I can't see a difference between flat and curved when I'm dead center with it.

    There was a comparison at the store. The curved tv had glare from the overhead lights. Other than that, looked the same to me.
