    I can see the logic in your theory but I find that no matter how many times you heat plastic it always continues to melt into an oily substance it will never run out as long as you have plastic. I will say though I have only had to do it once. If I find later down the road I have to do more frequently I might concede there is some oil loss occuring but its been almost 2 years and the color has been holding so far.

    Been using GTechniq C4 with excellent results on my truck. Still holding up well. It is expensive but a little goes a long ways and plus it will last.

    I do not recommend oil at all. Can't wait for the OP to go into a dusty area.
