    what year is this for cause need for a 2006 tacoma or the fuse box top half comes off too the same way?

    Also how can you tell if you have a blown alt fuse? maybe my alt wasnt dead and was a blown fuse?

    Seems like an easier fix just to replace the wire with a longer one, same gauge, terminals already attached. No potential loose connection someday. This is your main fuse box after all.

    thing is how do I get to it? The one in the video is different from my year. There no tabs to press to get the fuse holder out from the box like how the vid is. I can see the wire in the same place and can be rfmived but it on it side not top the nut.

    Ok success got the top half off changed the wire out for a longer one same size cheeeee
