    So Im visiting in San Diego and my daughter tells me she's wants to get her truck painted due to developing rust spots on the cab roof. Any of you San Diego TW members got a auto paint shop you can recommend from experience? My son-in-law was kind concerned that I would be asking a group of Tacoma owners for advise considering he drives a Ford. Told him no problem! Tacoma owners are used to helping out Ford truck owners!

    Hey Man, a friend of mine has a shop. He buys cars and sells them, and does body work and paint too. He did a pretty good job on my 2016 Tacoma, went from Silver to Cement Gray!

    Couple shocks, some old tires, and a bad paint job
    Really, any good auto body shop can do this for you since I've worked at a few, but I think (don't know from experience) that the local Toyota dealerships can recommend a good place to go to get it fixed because rust requires quite a bit of prep work and when there is a shop that is highly recommended, they tend to make sure they do a complete repair.
