Like I said it had some cool stuff. The looks are obviously subjective because everyone likes different things. The AWD system seemed solid. FWD towing is 3500? (can't remember too early).

Tow capacity was a bust for me so it really turned me off from the start. The interior rear seats tucked away nice.

It honestly drove better on-road then the Taco but it's a unibody cross-over. My 2013 avalanche we just sold drove great. We didn't need two trucks with a baby on the way or over 8000 lbs of towing. Utility wise it was great.

I guess you can't argue with the experts...

Overall truck of the year is the F250. Those awards are mostly BS anyways. Didn't Ram win like 3 of the last 7 even though it's panned universally for having the worst long term reliability?

Facelift for 2021: bigger grille, fender flares, more squared-off hood, headlights, and bumper. In terms of parts changed, it's similar in scope to the Taco's facelift in 2012.

Rear gets dual exhaust and lame three-letter-acronym (HPD) graphics.

Interior sees little change except a bigger infotainment screen:

Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
...^^^... I am basically a Toyota guy ... having had 12 Toyota trucks and 1 Honda Ridgeline ... the Ridgeline had a better fit and finish, and some great amenities ... but the car like ride was much too soft for me.

IF ... Honda made it more like a truck ... with a firmer suspension ... I might be temped to try one again ... the 2021 looks much improved.

Amazing what a new bumper and some fender flares will do. Looks good.
