Thanks for the info! That's what I'll have to do.

Quick question, did you replace your UCAs? If so what brand?

Also, do you have alignment numbers your going to go in there with and ask the tech to aim for when doing the alignment?

    Thanks!

I installed ICON Tubular UCAs. My numbers:

    Before:
    Camber D:1.2* P:1.6*
    Caster D:2.5* P:2.4*
    Toe D.08* P:.04*

    After:
    Camber D:.9* P:1.0*
    Caster D:1.9* P:1.7*
    Toe D:.04* P:.04*

From research, the goal is to get Camber and Toe at 0* and Caster at 3*. If I get Caster as close to 3* with Camber at 0*, I'll be good. I drove the truck about 300 miles before doing the initial alignment and it drove better on the freeway at the higher Caster numbers. More stable and less wandering.

Thank you, Those goal setting numbers sound right from what I've read also. If you have a chance let me know how it goes tomorrow at the shop and what final alignment numbers they are able to get for you.

    Good luck!

    Too few to list.
That quote was from me. I only ask because I've seen others install the perch on the 5100's upside down and get the 3.5"+ lifts. The perch should go over the snap ring like the picture below. If you can see your snap ring, it's installed incorrectly.

I got my realignment done this morning. I updated my thread. The truck drives noticeably more stable on the freeway. The tech was cool! He talked with me about the numbers I was searching for and understood why I was doing it even before he attempted the realignment. Once he was done, he came and told me what he was able to get and confirmed that I was ok with it.

Plan_c I love the truck! Just wondering what load range your tires are, and what you did about the tire sensors. Also where did you get the TRD badge on your grill?
