starting to see more rust around the rear suspension than normal. Any ideas to stop the corrosion before it is a problem.

The corrosion is mainly the leaf springs and brackets

A wire wheel and paint would be plenty. The springs would probably need to be replaced anyway before it becomes a real it problem.

I wouldn't worry about it. Or you can wire wheel them and paint them.

I usually use the VHT brand, but Rustoleum would be fine too.

I had seen all the issues with frame rust and so on. Just did not want to let it get bad. Thanks for the suggestions. I may just brush and paint for cosmetics.

You must not live in the rust belt. I would eat off those springs.

Thanks I will check out the VHT brand. I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Nothing like the cold north!

Yep that looks par for the course. Like @computeruser6 said, they'll need replacing before it's a real issue.

Rust and diabetes are the silent killers in the northern U.S. :) I use fluid film every fall, lots of info on this site.
