Any of my Norcal brethren ever run Fissure Mountain down in Johnson Valley?

I went down to KOH for the 3rd time and went out looking for milder JV trails. Didn't find out about Fissure Mountain until after I got back but based off of my google-fu it sounds doable. Any insight from my fellow TW members would be greatly appreciated. My truck is pretty mild compared to my old Heep and I am not willing to beat on it (too much).

Any info would be greatly appreciated WRT how equipped a rig should be to conquer Fissure Mountain.

@Lostsheep, how was the trail (if you ended up hitting it)? Thinking about heading out there this weekend.

Couldn't tell you yet as I haven't been back to JV since last KOH.

That being said, I'm heading down next Wednesday for KOH 2017. Super stoked for my 4th year in a row!

Looks like our plan is to go check out Fissure Mountain Trail on Saturday. We should have 3 trucks but none are really built so we'll have to see how it goes.
