    Hello,

I have search but with no available to what I am looking for. I am trying to install my Bilstein 5100 series front shocks.

According to the Bilstein print. It does not show if i should put the old washer and bushing that's located on top of my old dust boot shaft and below the top mount plate. Also there are 2 washer that came with the package which the print does not show where i should place it as well. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

Doesn't the bushing go over the top hat looking thing? Sorry I forget what this should look like. You'll definitely need to figure out a way to reuse the old bushing if the new didn't come with one. Which is annoying. Will the bushing stay on the shock rod? It doesn't look as flared out as the OE one in order to hold it in place

That washer and bushing I'm referring to sit right on top the dust boot on my old shock. There's another bushing and washer that sit on top of the mount cap...that I know.
Now the new shock dust boot have a solid washer that's build in with the boot. I just don't know if I should put the old washer and bushing on top of my new shock dust boot as well. Hope that make sense.

I called Bilstein just now and boy this Rick guy was unprofessional...like he just hate his job. My parent always taught me "there's no excuses for bad behavior". People I tell you...if you hate your job " the door is open". No one is forcing you to stay. Didn't get much out of him so I didn't even waste my time with someone like that. Hope someone on this forum experience this and can chime in.
