Yeah Madison, it all started out with me getting food poisoning and almost at the exact same time I started to develop this chest congestion??? At the time, the chest congestion wasn't too bad? The food poisoning "affects" eventually go away, but the chest congestion stayed and just eventually got worse. I finally got some antibiotics, which are HARD to convince them to prescribe to you, but she could clearly tell that my breathing wasn't "normal". So, got my antibiotics and some "wheezing" pills.

Sorry to hear that you are sick too!!! :pout::( SICK SUCKS!!! o_O:frusty: Hoping for a fast recovery Madison!!!:fistbump::cheers:

Btw, did were you and Mike ever able to hook-up those radios that your dad bought you guys??? I REALLY do like how compact those radios were. Hell, I didn't even know they made mobiles so compact these days and with pretty decent power? If the power is selectable though, and I believe there was a 10W and 25W or something like that that you could choose, GO WITH the lowest ALWAYS because usually the higher wattage rating will put the radio in a "shut down" mode to cool itself. Besides, 10W with an external, preferably hard mount antenna, will reach out pretty damn far!!! Use the 25W range in "short burst transmissions" if trying to reach someone that may be farther out.

LOL!!! Bro, you have NO IDEA how close you are with THAT first statement!!!:rofl::rofl::rofl: Let's just say that "bathroom duties" weren't "normal"!!! LMAO!!! That lasted for roughly 2wks when I had the food poisoning!!!

Now, with this chest/sinus issue, it's been HARD walking outside because even the slightest "cold air" (i.e. if it doesn't feel like I'm in some sorta sauna type environment) my coughing fits just get outta control, BADLY!!! I BLAST the hot air in the truck and slightly roll down the driver side window at the same time and it tends to help my breathing IF I have to go out for whatever reason?! But yeah, thanks Brian and hoping to make it finally to the Thursday meet?

Ahhhhhh, stupid me. Maintenance light is different from the CEL!!! LOL!!! But yeah, you WOULD think that the airbag deployment ability would be one of the things to have to pass? But then again, what does CARB care about your "head", LOL!!!:rofl::rofl:

Oh bummer!!! Food poisoning is NOT fun. The last time sent me to the ER. Hope you feel better soon with the antibiotics helping you out.
We still have the radios.. not hooked up yet :anonymous: hehe. We've been busy with work and after moving places I honestly forgot I even had those radios.. I'm so "out of sight, out of mind" lately. I'll have to check if they are 10 or 25w but good to know the difference! Thanks Randy!

Yes. Tcbob got them and shipped them out. Last time I checked the thread he was working on selling all the extra snorkels.

You'd need to do a lot of hacking being that you'd install them with flares

    1) LOL, I KNEW something wasn't quite right when I started having certain "issues" and sent myself roughly 3x days later to the Kaiser ER and I ended up receiving about 4x bags of IV and 4x bags of some other kinda of fluids. Then it took me about just over a week to get my "fluids" back to normal by myself, if you know what I mean. I was drinking LOTS and LOTS of Gatorade and even some Pedialite (sp)!!! So yeah, it is not fun at all!!! The antibiotics are showing some definite improvements for sure and I just took my 3rd dose today.

    2) "not hooked up yet" you say???!!! I'd be like :frusty::goingcrazy::smash::spy::tinfoilhat::alien::bananadead::angrygirl::annoyed::( if I knew I had a radio for that long and not connected yet!!! LMAO!!!:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: In other words, I'd lose my FRICKEN MIND!!! LMAO!!! Let me know if you guys need help though? Okay!

Also, before I forget, IF you can, you are better off going "hard mount" for an antenna than a magmount type! Magmounts CAN BE a PITA when they're subjected to "violent" vibrations, such as going high speed through desert washes!!! :bikewhoops: Just something to take in to consideration. I'm NOT saying they don't work or WILL fall off, you are just making a more of a better guarantee that you don't have to worry about shi* if you go hard mount antenna!!! LOL!!!

    3) I believe it was both 10W and 25W selectable? I honestly don't remember exactly? I just remember seeing that it had HIGH/LOW options, which most, if not all do?! Either way, the lowest wattage first to be used the most. The "footprint" of that chassis, being so small, believe me, it's NOT going to be able to handle the higher wattage very well for very long transmissions. I have a Yaesu FT-8900R that has a fan on the back of it AND the chassis is SUPER heavy duty. Yes, it does have up to 50W full power capable, BUT the chassis on the ones that you have is tiny compared to the max 25W (if around that) AND NO FAN!!! Still, VERY NICE compact little mobiles either way.

LOL, "The Wall of Randy" and radio talk!!! LMAO!!! Back at it again!!!:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Current status: no info from Greg or Shane since 10:30 this morning. They were supposed to meet with OP at 1pm but they never went to the meeting spot. No other contact with either. Chan did talk to shane's wife and his tracker reads that they're in DV
