Fog light mod, JBA LT headers, drop-in k&n filter, energy bushings, tried fold topper, 2nd air filter removed, all new stereo system minus subs, plastisol the wheels.
I'm thinking about changing my timing chain as my truck has 266k+ miles. I was wondering if I should change the oil pump or not? I have seen kits with and w/o the oil pump so I'm just curious if it's one of those thing you don't fix if it's not broken?

If you are dead set on doing this then yeah, I'd replace my oil pump & water pump for sure, and maybe the crank sensor too.

I don't know though if our timing set will stretch enough to matter , even at 266k. We have chain tensioners that should give us a lifetime. That said , nothing lasts forever, but you might want to try to take a peak under the timing cover to see if you need to invest in a new one.
