    Congrats on the truck and welcome to TW! I'm actually just about to leave on holiday (leaving Thursday morning). Although I can still get an order shipped out before I go if you need. I'll send you a message. Thanks for the order!

    Foot of snow on the ground, hardly any snow plowing and -26 degrees today.
    Thank you for the heated mirrors.
    Hope you're going to Mexico or Hawaii Brah.
    Have a good 1.

    You're very welcome! We have a lot of the same over here in BC... at least in my area. Off to New Orleans for a couple of days and then to the Caribbean for about a week. My wife is stressing out right now.... Have a local storm warning that we'll have to drive through to get to the airport and apparently New Orleans just got hit by a tornado... should be an interesting trip getting there! lol

    Five minute kit works perfect and drops right into the lower dash without taking up any of the already limited factory button holes.

    Just got back last night... Now a ton of catching up to do at work :mad:

    That looks great! I do like that kit option for being able to add on heated mirrors without using up a switch blank. I'll probably be switching mine over to this type in summer. If you find you could use a little more than 5 minutes heating time just let me know, it's very easy to change the time setting on your relay. 5 minutes will usually be enough though unless you see some heavier frosts.
    Here and ready when you are good sir :thumbsup:

    Perfect, glad to hear it! I'm sure you'll like being able to clear your mirrors off in the morning with just the push of a button

    That one was a challenge! Both in sourcing the connectors needed and coming up with a build plan that was tidy and also a plug and play conversion. Hope you enjoy it... those 4Runner mirrors are going to be awesome!

    SOON :fingerscrossed:

    :spy::spy:

    Well to be perfectly honest it's going a LOT slower than I'm used to. The problem is I've had to outsource some of this that was beyond my expertise, in particular PCB design and software development. I've been given an assurance that the project will be completed next week which means I will finally have my hands on a prototype of the PCB with programming. The harness I went ahead and built as you already saw so I should be able to start testing right away when it arrives.

    I would also like to find a truck (08 or older OR model) to test this in. The 05-08 models use a 4WD ECU that is a different part number, although I've looked them up and they have the exact same electrical schematic. There should be no reason why it wouldn't work with the 05-08 ECU but I'd like to confirm that. The change in part number is likely something simple like a change in hole positions for a mounting bracket or some other minor change since as I said they appear electrically to be exactly the same.

    Not taken that way at all :) I've actually done quite a few kits for people who have purchased the ProEFX mirrors, and they all seem to be happy with that setup. I wonder if @mach1man001 has any plans for a spring group buy.

    The right side of the steering wheel has a flip down tab - about 2" long - and the left side will require the removal of the drivers door sill plate and the triangular kick panel. Will plate snaps on and off and the kick panel usually requires tugging the black foot rest and hand turning the black kick panel but.
