Spent quite a bit of time reading on lifts.

I think I am sold on the 5100 lift kit to get about 1.5" - looks like $400 dollars. I just want a bit more ground clearance for off-roading.

Most of what I read said the OME 883 will make the ride stiffer because the stock coils get soft when raising the vehicle. I enjoy the stock ride as it is now, what would be the best way to maintain that?

Would the OME 883 coils maintain that or make it stiffer?
Would the stock coils really get that much softer?

Redbull Complete, think its 885s and 5100s all around.

Right now I don't have sliders or a real skid plate, are those heavy enough to change the rake? Should I wait to get those put on before I finalize a lift? The only think I have in the back is my Truck Covers USA Roll Cover which is a little over 100 lbs. I can't see that bringing the back end down at all.

Also I saw 5160s for the rear w/ the reservoir how hard of off-roading do you need to be doing before that is a worthwhile investment?

Sliders and skid plates are several hundred pounds of extra weight, it'll definitely change your vehicle height.

I wouldn't upgrade shocks until you're limited by performance of your current shocks.

Thanks, my main driver is getting more clearance off-roading. Some of the more rocky areas are a little challenging at this height. I think I will wait till I get all the armor on before pulling the trigger.

Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road told me that even tho sliders are heavy the weight is spread out over the length of the wheelbase and really doesn't have a huge impact on lift heights.
