Hello all long time member and I only post so often. I currently have one light bar and plan on adding a few pods, I have an amp and sub and everything is directly mounted to my single battery. I have inline fuses on everything but my question is as I add more lights and eventually a compressor what do I need to do? I'm literally retarded when it comes to electronics and fuse boxes so I really have no idea. I recently placed the in bed light kit which was routed through the fuse box and came with directions. What are my options? I'll post pics tomorrow if I have time.

Well judging by what your saying your prob thinking of adding another bettery...adding a second battery doesn't really give you more power while the engine is running.

+1 on the above. I'd say Big 3 upgrade is a really good idea. If you post the wattages of everything that you are running the forum can prob advise you on whether or not you'll need a bigger alt

I have a 20" light bar and adding 2 pods. 1 amp of unknown amps and anticipating a winch and on board air compressor down the road. Sorry I don't have exact numbers

You're gonna wanna know those exact numbers.

I doubt the lights/amps are straining anything. I have a 24" 144w light bar and 2 400w amps. No issues here.

You're talking about a ton of amperage with a winch, and likely running it with the engine off. THAT's something you may want a second battery for.

A dedicated fuse box would make your life easier. I had mine made by @skygear, but other people speak highly of the Blue Sea boxes.
