I hate to see this happening to so many people, they are obviously doing something wrong on the Assembly Line or just plain bad mounts.

IMG_9588.jpg There it is... An obvious split in the bushing allowed the sleeve to rub on the bracket.

Can I ask a simple question? Did you off-road the truck at all? Is this a possibility from daily driving to work and highway trips? Thanks!

I may have hit a bump a little hard off road, but I would be rather disappointed if that caused it. It only has 568 miles on it and most of those were to and from work.. about 30 miles a day.

So where does one get the new bushings from, I'm assuming people aren't putting the crappy factory ones back in. May as well bookmark it for possible future replacement.

Good point! I took it to the dealer and I'm sure they put the same part number back on it.

The dealer is where I would get mine from, and Toyota would be paying for it.

Why do that under warranty? Let the dealer, and Toyota do it for free !

But if they are ongoing to replace it with the same crappy part, why let them. Buy good ones and make toyota install them. Plus if it gives an extra 1/2 inch or so of lift am in for that

If it's a reoccurring problem, I will recommend your solution to the dealer. I'll tell you what though... as long as that bitch is under warranty, I'll keep taking it to the dealer until they are sick of me.

In reading the work order it said they tried to center the cab first, maybe the problem is not so much in the bushings themselves but the cab being misaligned and thus cutting into the bushing.

That's a really great point and I am wondering if the hardware was not torqued to spec which cause the cab to shift.

I'd have to take a picture but they are under the plastic inner fender to the outside of the radiator. You can't miss them.
