Well my phone has good quality so that's all that matters. I just wanted other ppl to see how good it is.

 

Yep, that's why I put a link in my first post with a direct download so folks had access to a raw straight-from-the-camera video file sample.

 

Here is another demo video. This was recorded in 720p to save file space since I only had an 8GB microsd card in it. It is set to record at 3 minute intervals and each file was about 170MB. Also the actual camera is slightly different than the one @gpb posted but was bought from the same link. A picture is attached of that also.


Overall its pretty good for $40 for what I plan to use it for.

 

I'm entry level for downloading videos, the wife can help me with YouTube. So should I just go this route to upload videos on TW? I have an photo f*ckit account but don't want to go that direction. Any tips will help! Thanks!

If you're looking for a true camera that's also waterproof, look at the Olympus TG4

I linked to a video from my gopro clone in my first post; download it and view it to get a sense of quality. Streaming it degrades the video.

 

Ok I've got mine. Really havnt gotten it out of the box since I bought it. Im headed out for a pre-spring break down trip I the am. I need to go grab an SD card for it. Do you have to format it prior to sticking it in the camera?

My "wife" took my laptop when she moved out so I'm working off an iPad. Apple products are all new to me. Any insight into editing or formatting the SD card if needed on an iPad? Running to best buy shortly to get a card and a way to adapt it to this damn Non USB port having SOB
