I currently have a 3" lift with 33s on my 2014 Tacoma, 3" is just a little small for me and 6" is too high with 33s in my opinion. Would it be worth the money to go to a 4" or 5" and would I be able to tell a difference from a 3" to a 4" lift?

Also what would be some good 4-5" suspension lifts for under $1500

Too poor to list anything interesting.
I don't believe there exists such a thing. Unless you're ready to go with long travel. And in that case, prepare to pay a lot.

Have you thought about keeping the 3" lift and going with 35" tires?

Either way, you'll put a lot of stress on those stock parts.

I know RCD and BDS make some 4.5 inch lifts.. seem to run a little more than your current budget tho. I'd be interested in hearing peoples opinions on these.

Buy Rough Country 4" kit and save a little more, get rid of the spacers and change decent longer coilovers under.

1" of lift is not noticeable much. You would really need to look to tell any difference

I have the RCD lift. It's actually a 5" lift.

Tacomaworld posters don't let other posters cut their crossmembers. Say no to cutting!!!

4" lifts without subframe drops have wicked vibrations and the big lifts with cheap spacers have lots of durability issues.

3" is the sweet spot for your tacoma, any tires bigger than 33" or lift over 3" makes for a poor daily driver.

Have you run a drop bracket lift before?
