Installed the pro grill today! Took about 20 minutes. Dealership wanted $125 to install, so I did it myself.

I guess the only benefit to paying them to do it is if they broke any clips, they would have to replace. Looks sic.

I have been contemplating taking the Tacoma emblems off of the doors as well, did you use a blow dryer?....any stubborn residue? I hear people waxing it afterwards, is that necessary? Youtube videos make it look like an all day chore....just wondering how your experience was. Thanks.

Just did mine last week. No heat applied, 74 degree day. Just used fishing line behind them, pulled them off, then removed the factory double sided tape. I did have to use a small amount of Goo Gone and washed and waxed after. I wouldn't consider waxing to be necessary, but I enjoy my vehicle looking nice and shiny.

I did break a few on the old grill. Not a big deal as I will be posting for free here. After doing the install myself, I don't see how someone can break clips in the new grill. It seemed really easy to me.

Randomly decided that I didn't like the chrome bits on my rear bumper... so I made them "bedliner black".
