With that kind of budget you could do a lot better than Rancho + free shipping from Headstrong Off Road

Rancho from what I have seen are okay they from what I here though are more el cheapo lifts. Bilstein kit @Dimestore55 suggested will give you the best quality for your buck and provide a really good ride.

I had those on my tundra and have no complaints. Leveled the truck nicely and rode better than stock.

You didn't mention you were in Canadia. I have no idea what the exchange rate is but $1200-1300 USD is a fairly generous amount for what you were trying to accomplish and I thought the Bilstein Kit offered much more value.

I thought about these when I was buying my lift, and I found that not very many people get these. I decided to go with Old Man Emu springs and Bilstein shocks and I'm definitely happy with my decision. If the rancho setup was more cheap i would have considered it more

I have the rancho quick lift with an aal and 9000 series shocks out back. I was able to find my set up for sale here on TW, got a good deal. I liked the fact that it is direct bolt on, no spring swapping involed, plus the 9000 series shocks are adjustable so you can tune the suspension to your liking. no complaints so far, install was straight forward. I have messed around with the settings and any thing under position 5 feels like stock floaty ride, 6 and up is firm. Lots of great products out there really cant go wrong.

Well... That's a completely different ball game right there. Now you're getting into having to do a drop bracket, which involves cutting out the front crossmember. They're very expensive for parts and install. Unless you really value having a Tacoma that sits high up off the ground, I wouldn't recommend it.

If you are two wheel drive, you have another option, that being a spindle lift which is 4" of lift in the front. If you are 4x4, 3" is about the max and even then your CV angles will be on the upper end of what you'd like them to be. And you will need to consider UCAs if you want a good alignment.

Yeah it is what i installed. Also put a top plate spacer on the drivers side to compensate for taco lean.

Rancho quick lifts ride like shit. I've had both 5100's and the Rancho's and 5100 are a wayyy better ride for the price difference.

I have the Rancho's on my current truck right now and can't wait to get some 5100/Eibachs again.
