So ive had a chance to use the blizzaks in some pretty good storms. I am happy with them. Compared to my Michelin defenders they are an improvement, not that the defenders were horrible but had trouble in deep snow.

Regular old traction is great, getting up my steep drive with 10" snow i just drove normal, not a running start.

Braking, definitely better. i get some packed snow at the end of my work driveway that i used to slide almost into the road. The abs kicks in, but only a couple times and thats if i have some good momentum.

Turning. In deep snow its decent, i may slide out a little but it eventually hooks up.

Ice. Straight on ice driving and braking is decent. Better than non snows, but not miracle workers.

Overall, i am happy. I would buy them again, BUT, it will depend on the life i get out of them. Time will tell.

Unfortunately ive only used studs on a FWD civic hatchback, so i cant compare. My only comparison is this truck and a couple suv's with all seasons and at's

If anyone has any questions let me know.
