I didn't buy the warranty plus they told me that vandalism isn't covered by their warranty anyway.

I didn't rub on the frame but it was close. My tires rubbed the bypass tubes though. If I ran a custom housing wider than the Tundra housing I would have been golden. The 35x12.5" MTRs are also bigger than a BFG AT or TA due to the huge tread blocks.

Your fine with 2.5"s. Bryan Blagg told me that his shocks never overheated during 100+ degree temps over 250 race miles. I am inclined to believe him.

I ran 3.0"s because I wanted to overbuild the truck. Which ever way you chose have @Downsouth Motorsports valve your shocks. My truck was dialed after they set them up.

@06HAOLE how was the Detroit Locker on street? I don't mind the noise. Just curious about the very rare mall crawling stuff I do about a few times a month.

@MadTaco461 I was fine with the Detroit on the street. My 2006 had one too and I loved it. Just don't gas it in the corners and you will keep from destroying your tires.

I'm so stoked I found this thread by accident because I currently own this 2000 Tacoma Reg Cab! I guess her name is "Martha". I've learned so much about this trucks past because of this thread and for that I am grateful! Not sure if any of you will even see this because of the time gap but I wanted to post anyway. If anyone was curious about what happened to this truck.. she's still alive and strong. This little tacoma never seizes to amaze me with its capability and reliability. It is an absolute blast every time I get behind the wheel. I plan to get the next chapter of its life started soon (4-Link). Hope to hear back from one of you.
