The two upper rungs on mine will not lock, I can make it stay by using a bungee cord around the unlock tabs. I have been emailing about a replacement but have not sent mine back yet.

It is just a slight hiccup, don't doubt the tent or the company, or especially Ander Urdeneta who is an extremely stand up guy. He has been working really hard to make my situation right, and I'm sure he's doing the same for the rest of you. He has been in contact with me even on his personal time, to fix my issue. I know it's a bummer and I may be contradicting my self a little, but just be paitent and Ander will make sure you get what you paid for. You can't blame Ander or geo adventure gear for the failure of the ladder. The manufacturer of the ladder might have had a bad batch, and I am positive they are more then aware of it. Take the exploding Samsung phones for example, they had a different manufacturer make the batteries and failed on a catastrophic level, that made these phones explode on your face (giggity) but they made it right and yet still people buy Samsung crap lol. This is only a slight issue that will not harm you. You will know immediately if the ladder is defective before it causes any harm, so don't be alarmed. And no, geo adventure gear did not tell me to say any of this. I just feel like it's right to give praise to Ander for grade A+ customer service, only a hand full of companies go this far to help their customers. Thank you Ander and @GEOADVENTUREGEAR

Ohh don't get me wrong, not blaming the company nor Ander. He was extremely helpful so far and offered a replacement also. I just didn't get a chance to record a video to show that my ladder keep collapsing.

I believe you mentioned a new model coming out, does this one use the same ladder?

yes it does and to clarify we have been using this ladder system for a long time and very rarely had issues with it (that is why we sticked to them). We are in communication with the manufacturer to determine if it was a defective set. we are working the best we can to get things together for those having issues.
