    Got those ditch lights mounted

    95277d371d026b4e1d2fb8361879af03_341f67015cef5b3d4fba2a372a25c0935dabba2d.jpg

Digging the fit, the mounting points were a bitch to get to, but once they're on, they're flipping solid!

Here's some views from the cab. The driver's side doesn't obscure anything, really. It's tucked pretty well behind the A-pillar.

    d0f8dff14696ab63d94df9e2198170fb_cac2f2813006db2cd6a3a762a7af8f3851198913.jpg

Passenger side sticks out quite a bit, but not much more obscuring than a snorkel would be.

Now all I gotta do is wire 'em up!

Got the rack on, still waiting on some mounting hardware for the lights though so I'll do that soon

Couldn't be happier with them! braking with the upgraded calipers and rotors is effortless compared to the old ones, and I don't have to stand on the pedal to get a response anymore

Alright, so it's been a little bit since my last update with school being in full swing, but I've found some time to wire up all of my lights. So far, I have my front-facing 30" bar hooked up.

    IMG_6196.jpg

It actually got wet on the inside after a car wash so I had to pull it open, dry it out, and rebuild it with silicone and glass sealant around the bezels and end caps.

Next step is......more lights! I have some side-mounted floods that I want to put on (still thinking of how to mount them), and I also want to get a rear-facing amber pod and a rear-facing floodlight.

    How'd you mount the rack?
How much weight can it handle?

Sorry it took so long for me to reply. Haven't checked my tread in a while.

    IMG_7763.jpg
The basket is bolted through the shell using the existing brackets that it came with. I just used longer bolts and nuts instead of the hardware they gave me. Don't have a good picture but you can see some aluminum plates that hold the bottom of the hardware so they don't slip through their holes.

On the roof I have the basket brackets sitting on some medium-density foam so it doesn't scratch. That also helps distribute the weight so the shell doesn't crack.

The basket leaks a little bit, so I need to pull some of the bolts and go to town with the silicone sealant, but otherwise I like having it. I'd probably only trust to put 50lbs or so, though. I'll end up putting Jerry cans up there for fuel and water at some point

Got the bumper pulled. I'll probably have it sitting for a bit though until the rain stops in a couple days

Did some test-fitting today. Tacked the nerf bar on and made sure everything lined up and fit right.

    IMG_8518.jpg

Tomorrow I'll be finishing up my welding with some tabs to mount some lights to, and then I'll bring it to a buddy's shop to have it welded proper. After that it's just a matter of painting it and mounting it for real!
