When installing the fittings to the regulator and hose, how tight should they be? I feel like I'm half way threaded and have to really torque it down to go any further. I made 100% sure that nothing is cross threaded.
Is this normal? Keep it where it is? Or keep going and torque them on tight?

    Edit: I checked, no leaks.

Mine was the same. Figure it's the weight of the tank that drive up the shipping cost, it ain't no loaf of bread.

Yeah, it can be a little pricey from CA to FL. I usually end up paying even more than it says when I generate the label, sorry man! We all get spoiled by these large companies who get HUGE breaks from UPS, or actually WAY understate their shipping weights because they never make it onto a scale. Unfortunately I don't have those advantages. Are you out? You're the only one I'm waiting on to order supplies at this point. Thanks!

No leaks and you're good! DON'T over tighten, you'll snap the fitting off inside the regulator and then it's done! Spray with a little soapy water will reveal any leaks.

Need to get done Teflon tape and then it's time to assemble. Should I take the regulator off whenever not In use or is it okay to leave on 24/7?

Leave it on, no teflon on that connection. Spray for leaks and you're good. Just make sure you close the valve on the bottle when not in use.

Since I have a large group here..... was it annoying that I don't include a roll of teflon tape??

I always keep my teflon tape next to my 9mm. Never know when you are going to need it.

Never worked with any of these type of fittings before. I am sure its simple but Instructions included? How tight? What needs telflon tape?

Bought Teflon tape at Home Depot. Less than a dollar, no big deal.

Love the product. Used it today to inflate mine and a friends rig. Done in less than 10 minutes. Compressor days are over (backup only). :drunk:

After seeing this setup in action this weekend I'm definitely in for the next GB unless anyone local to San Diego wants to rehome theirs beforehand
