    2016 Tacoma SR5 Access 2WD
    I've read posts here in the past, but decided it's time to join the group to share info. I bought my first 1986 Tacoma used in 1990. Ran it for 7 years till I could afford my first new one, a 97' Extra Cab LX 2.4L 2WD with most of the options. I just recently replaced it with a new 2016 last April after 282K miles of very reliable service from the 97. Wasn't sure I'd like the larger size, but after 15K miles, I absolutely love it! Great ride and handling, and despite the larger size and 12% larger engine(2.7L), it gets roughly the same, if not better mileage than my 97. If the 16 lasts as long as the 97(19 years), I'll be 80 and not likely need a truck I'll be too old to load anything in.
