Washed and waxed the truck and then applied the Lumen-X covers to the fogs. What a pain that was, not 100 percent happy with the results but I can live with it.

Finally after what seems like forever, got the @Up2NoGood heated mirror kit installed into the truck. Damn you Mother Nature for spring weather in February.

    Fuck.

Can you describe the process and time used? Did you let it sit too long between checking progress or was the bleach too strong for this?

Not seen this fail before. Sorry man. :(

I dunked her in the greatvalue bleach and for the first hour or so it just fizzed a bit but still looked chrome, went in house watched a few episodes lf my show on hulu, came back out and it was all black from oxidized chrome and the copper below was green from being oxidized aswell, a few spots on the back of the grill ate through down to the plastic and it looked fine , but it was by no means an even removal perhaps it needed more time, but also as the bleached catalized the chrome and copper it got weaker so perhaps i need more bleach and time and a bigger tub to get the hole thing in.

I added a little more bro to my truck. Bluetooth rock lights, they were installed in the dark so they aren't as good as I would like and I think 8 lights would have been better than 6. You can also kinda see the CaliRaised Amber fogs and my hitch mounted LED lights.

Installed Timbren front bump stops. Wow, what a difference that made. Front end is SO much softer than before

    Just a few LEDs...
Try Easy-Off oven cleaner. That's what I used on my headlight bezels.
Just spray it on, let it sit for 15 minutes and hose it off. Repeat if needed.

If you want to soak it in a tub, use crystal Draino. The active ingredient in both is Sodium Hydroxide.
