Saw an ad for a new Netflix series called "Black Mirror" that is due out soon. Looked it up and turns out it's actually a UK show that has been around since 2011 and Netflix is putting out the 3rd season. The first 2 season are currently on Netflix so I gave it a shot. Watched the whole first season straight through (only 3 eps) and wow. It's an anthology series so all of the eps had nothing to do with each other. Just really interesting stories, mainly having to do with some sort of technology. The 3rd one was my fave so far, really really good.

If you haven't seen it, Freaks and Geeks was a great show. All 18 episodes on Netflix

    This thread sure went silent...

Ive watched quite a bit recently. Finished the 1st season of Ash vs. Evil Dead today. Awesome show, makes me want to watch the original movies. I've only ever seen Army of Darkness...

I also watched all of Black Mirror on Netflix. So good. If you do watch, don't start with ep. 1. Just go back and watch that one later. It's not a good introduction in to how good that show really is (don't worry about missing something, each episode exists on its own and they don't connect). It's like a modern day Twilight Zone...

Just watched Hacksaw Ridge. I liked it but I didn't really like Mel Gibson as the director. He has the tendency to over dramatize things that don't add to the story. I enjoyed it but wanted it to be better.

Just watched The Accountant. I'm not an Afflek fan by any stretch but the movie was excellent.

Recently watched all 11 episodes of a new show 'This Is Us'... Excellent so far.
The chronology used in the show is unique, very well done!

We liked it, pretty entertaining for the whole length.
Low frequencies were impressive, living room is 3000cu ft, opens into kitchen via door size opening and on the other end a large hallway. Shit fell off of the microwave, and shook pictures down the hall, the garage, front door, and windows.

Well I started the new season of Top Gear and was surprised by how entertaining it was. Not that the new trio has the chemistry that James, Jeremy and Richard had but I still laughed. They at least had a celebrity on the show, but I didn't see the STIG in the first episode. The jokes are pushed a bit but so are the jokes on The Grand Tour. For now though I at least have something else to watch while The Grand Tour isn't on and it's something me and the wife laugh out loud at so for us it's a good show.

Got hooked on the "Rome" TV series. See that it was only out for two seasons.
    Has anyone seen it?

Just signed up for movie pass. $10 a month for any movie any theater any day. Seems like a good deal from what I heard.
