Hey guys, its been a while since I've posted much... Gonna get some new rubber soon... I was wondering which one would be a better choice since they are relatively the same price. I do moderate off-roading, some mud, mostly dirt, I live in SoCal... So besides like these two months there's basically no rain.. I don't mind the road noise but at the same time I wanna be able to stop when I'm driving on pavement. Also, would anyone know if I can fit 275's? Any rub? I'm sure 285 would really be pushing it... I drive a '17 TRD-Sport 4x4 on stock suspension (probably going to add a leveling kit)

    Thanks a million guys,
    Arty

I'd check out the new Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I was running Trail Grapplers in 255/75/17's and they would rub, so I went with 265/70/17's in the RG's. After installing them, I wish that I would have went with the 285's because they aren't as meaty as the Trail Grapplers. And the new RG's ride way better then the Trail Grapplers.

I was about to ask this same question. I had 3 choices of tires same 2 as BFG KO2 , Nitto G2 but was also concidering the Toyo AT2. Then watched a video of the Trail Grapplers and likes them aswell. I will be putting a 3 inch lift soon but I have a new set of rims sitting here 17X9 that I cant decided 265 or 285. I do not want E load heavy tire either, if I did I would have got the BFG Ko2 275's.

I had a question...cause I am trying to decided between the Ridge Grapplers or the Cooper ST MAXX. 255/70/17 rub, got that. Do you think the 255/70/17 would rub? And, did the 255/75/17 rub with your lift on?

I had two sets of 255/75/17 Trail Grapplers and they would rub on a turn if I was on an angle but that was very little. But like I said they have a bigger tread then the Ridge Grapplers. I believe the only size for those are 265/70 or 285/65. I believe the Trail Grapplers have a few more sizes. If I known the size of the Ridge Grapplers and how they would have fit, I would have went with the 285/65's.
