    Compression test done :)

The antifreeze in the rad is full

Any other ideas on cracked head

Would a cracked head cause missfire in two different banks of cylinders ?

Yes, happen to a 98 t100 3.4 I was working on. No smoke in the tail pipe, idle and drive fine. But threw a misfire cylinder code on both side head. No lost in coolant as well. After performing the coolant dye for exhaust detection through the radiator, it all point to crack head. Decided to pull it off and drop it off at the local machine shop for testing, both head have hair line crack.

Your front oxygen sensor should be wideband. You can't check it, was referring it to clogged injector. The afr will change and trigger a p0171 for lean

If the dye is negative, I'll lean towards electrical issue. Something is not signaling or pulsating the injector to open

    Lisle 75500 Combustion Leak Detector

    This is What you need...

You don't actual dye the coolant. A separate unit have a chemical that detects exhaust gas when the vehicle is running. Radiator build pressure and pressure travels to the attached reservoir. The chemical change color if it detect exhaust gas.

Yes, it'll test for leak from gasket to crack head/block. Exhaust gas will leak through.

Just to minimized your chance of tearing everything up

Check O'Reilly, some of the guys I was talking to years ago say they rent the tool, you just have to buy the chemical, which they sell as well
