I was looking for a new 2017 truck and a dealer had the one I was looking for (TRD Sport). It ended up the pricing was $1100 more than what I was looking for. Then, the dealer found a 2016 TRD Off Road (Toyota Certified) with 32,000 miles on it with about $4,000 less than the brand new 2017 TRD Sport. It seems like a good deal to go with the 2016 TRD Off Road truck, but I don't know if there are anything I need to be cautious with the 32,000 miles? I would appreciate if you could provide any advice of pros/cons on those two models.

    Thank you!

Edit: The 2016 TRD Off Road truck comes with Leer canopy.

Sports and Off-road are the same price from Toyota. 4K isn't worth an unknown 32K miles. Buy new at that point.

4k less with 32k is not worth it.

Why not a 2017 Off Road, same price as a Sport?

You are right about that--Sports and Off Road got the same pricing. That's great to know.

Go new, 4K off a price with 32K miles is not enough. I got about that much off my 2016 sport with 1200 miles on it.

I went with the Off Road. I like the OR ride better (softer) than the Sport (too stiff for me).

OR would be my choice if I did it all over again. Great ride, rear locker if needed, looks more aggressive.
