Here it goes!!! Purchased my 2017 DCOR Sept 5th 2016. I've looked and admired Tacoma's for a long time. The hype of the Pro brought me to the Stealership when a Cemet arrived in my area, I had to see it in person. I was impressed with such a beautiful truck but had a tough decision. Parked right next to it was a fully loaded Silver Sky OR - JBL. I test drove both trucks, looked them over thoroughly and found the Pro was missing a lot of options and lacking the sun roof option of the OR. I wasn't interested in ordering so after long deliberation I opted for the OR knowing that I would Mod the truck anyway.

The following is list of my needs and how I will use the truck. I will post a separate build page on how I am addressing. My wife, kids and myself love being outdoors. We like to camp, fish, hike, bike (Road/Mountain) and occasionally hunt (mostly turkey). In that we needed a vehicle that would get us to remote places to experience the great outdoors without destroying our Daily Drivers.

About Myself: I have been in the Collision Industry for 30+ years. I was an ASE Certified Master Tech for more that 20 of those years and now work as a Manager for a major supplier. In the past I have built numerous personal cars and trucks, some from the ground up, but have not built anything for myself in the last 8 years.

I have been lurking on the forum for a while and thankful for so many great posts about our trucks. I look forward to becoming a part of the community here.

    A few pics to follow...

No, its Gas, but more than enough HP and Torque. It's never disappointed me.

Had a few German cars most recently BMWs...3s...few diesels. I definitely like the driving dynamics & quality of materials especially involving the interior. In my experience they're less reliable & cost way more to maintain but when everything is working you can't beat them.
