1991 Toyota pickup... Not mine but my uncle's... He taught me how to drive stick in this truck 2 years ago... Original post was lumped in with my other "Off-topic" and "Asperger's" posts when the moderators decided to just give me my own thread, and it is in there somewhere. However, this is just such a badass truck that I wanted to make sure the photos were easily accessible.

It was originally red with white graphics on the side, and the doors are not original. He took vent-window doors from a wrecked black 1994 extra cab and put them on, then painted it all orange.

That is a gorgeous truck, @ThePattonTank1989. It reminds me of my high-school years in the early 1990s. Back then every truck had the tires mounted white letters out on polished aluminum wheels. To this day, only regular cab Toyota pickups look right to me. Vent windows, AKA wing windows, also appeared on regular cabs if they had the DLX option package. I used to have a 1993 pickup that had them.

$600? What the hell was wrong with it, and/or what the hell was it missing? I have about $600 just in my stereo!

I totally forgot about this gem! I spotted it at a small cruise/gathering in the parking lot of Montgomery Mall back in 2011. I forget what year it is (1981-1983), and believe it or not this was some sort of demo vehicle built by Toyota with off-the-shelf factory parts. It has factory A/C (still R-12 and fully operational at the time of the pictures) and that 4-cylinder produces about 300HP!

The Tacoma has 475k miles and had 2 rusted areas on the frame. A TW vendor & friend Joe at Mobtown offroad cut out the rusted areas and welded in new metal for me. The truck runs & drives great.

What sucks is it's not mine, and at the time my not even 2-year old Tacoma was totally stock and quite boring by comparison, so I had a serious case of truck envy when I left the show!

Only thing that doesn't work is the passenger door power window unless the drivers door is open. So it must be a damaged wire in the dr door harness. Other than that even with 475k it performs great. All it needed to pass maryland state inspection is a new windshield due to a crack. It was a 1 owner PA truck before I bought it from a fellow TW member.

Again, not mine, but still pretty sweet. It's a fully loaded low-mileage 1992 SR5 extra-cab 4x4. The picture was taken in July 2013 by the same ex-girlfriend who farted in my Tacoma on the first date, and turned it (My Tacoma, NOT this museum-worthy specimen) into a mobile Dutch oven for two!

Spotted parked in front of the Gap store on Main Street in Doylestown way back in July 2011. My friend took the picture from across the street...
